getting a chicken to lay on eggs

my rhode island red lays eggs everyday but she doesnt sit on any of them. how do i get her to lay on them or get any of the other ones to lay on them? is she waiting until she lays a bunch before she sits on them?

The brooding or setting instinct has been bred out of many strains of chickens. Depending upon the genetic backgrounds of your hens they may or may not incubate. Some people feel that a full nest triggers hens to incubate. I am not certain that is factual. A hen goes broody when her body tells her to do so.

I say stop looking for her to go broody, In my experience it seems they go broody when it least suits you!!

so what should i do with the eggs while i wait for her to decide? lol

Try them over easy or scrambled?
