Getting a duck in an urban area

1. Most breeds besides bantam sized and Muscovies can not fly. However, ducks are messy so if you don't have space for a coop they may destroy your yard

2. That has more to do with your dog. With proper dog training you should be fine but in some cases it just does not work out

3. All female ducks with the exception of Muscovies are loud. Some are extremely loud. You'd be better off with a bachelor flock
x2 If you're not wanting eggs boys are much quieter, and more pretty too. With the exception on scovies imo, lol.
Calls can fly well, and are bred for their loud voice so if noise is a concern I wouldn't go with them.

If noise is a issue you defiantly want to stay away from Calls. They are extraordinarily and can defiantly fly. Mine can fly a few dozen yards like it's nothing. Are you wanting adults, ducklings, or eggs? No breeder will ship Calls because they are just to fragile for shipping day olds.

I'd like to have eggs if anything, what are a few good types of ducks that might work for the area I'm in?
