Shes a Cocker Spaniel and I think she is either 7-?? months old, Mostly black with some white, purebreed, and pretty

I've been told that this breed is harder to potty train than some of the other breeds any info would be appreciated.

Mine wasnt hard to train at all..
And she was the BEST dog ever. We lost her when she was 10 yrs old to a copperhead bite..

Cockers can be a little mule headed but they're SMART dogs. Once they get the hang of exactly what it is that you want they will live that lesson forever so you have to be more consistent than ever with these dogs. Don't confuse them with conflicting messages (of course that should be said for any dog). They LIVE for positive attention so be sure to use a lot of positive reinforcement when they do what you want.

ETA: She is dirty and they said they gave her a bath and she is still wet

And they gave me her papers to get her registered if I wanted too.. Suggestions?
