getting a rooster

Do I need to "introduce" a rooster to my 7 girls or can I just toss him right in there?

If he is new and has had a proper quarantine period I would put him in and just keep an eye on things for a bit.

How old are your girls?

if they are all breeding age,, or all NOT breeding age,, just toss him in and watch,,but know,, there WILL be some fighting, some feather pulling,, some jumping,, and ALOT of screaming,, but they NEED to do this,,,, only step in if it gets REALLY bad, or the first hint of blood.
