(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Nope, not new at all! Had a flock when I was young/growing up, and I had a few flocks in the past but just had about a 7-8 year gap and am getting back in to chickens again.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Seeing all the happy chickies being a living garbage disposal in my backyard, and getting the eggs out of it in the end. Having a diabetic in the home, and worries of food shortages in the future, excited to have a method to convert carbs into pure protein as well.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Currently the major one is streaming RDR2 roleplay on twitch, but I like to do a lot of different little crafty things, it just depends on what I'm in the mood for. I recently made a dog out of hot glue.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Well, I'm an adult living in her parents home due to the atrocious cost of housing in this state - with a bunch of dogs, some parrots, and my younger siblings. Other pets in the family currently include an 8 yo 3/4 shih tzu 1/4 yorkie mix, a 12 yo shih tzu x yorkie, a 13 yo shih tzu x yorkie, and a 15 yo shih tzu. I also recently got a Puli, and she is 6 mos old. There's also 3 baby squirrels being handfed right now, and we have some parrots ranging from 18yo-31yo.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've known about BYC for ages, and lost my old account information here, so figured I'd just start fresh since I'm getting into chickens once more.
