We have had about 4-5 in about 28 years, one took the roof off a log cabin, and broke a tree in 1/2, we lost power 3 days (It happened the same day Princess Diana died, and I was the last person to find out since we didn't have power.). A different one lifted the roof of someone's double-wide. Then there was the waterspout one, and this one. One time we had one and we lost a lot of trees- and they are the kind with a deep taproot, not surface roots like the west side. That same one lifted a pick-up truck that was driving down the road. Oh and we were outside, it was the month of May, and we looked up and the sky was green. I told my DH time to go inside, we then realized we left the cat out, we grabbed her and brought her in just as things were getting sucked into the tornado.

Oh Ya as kid walking home from school hid in ditch with my brother saw one coming add us but turned last minute.

We are getting more chicken food. Ive been trying to keep it topped up because sometimes it's hard to get what I feed them.

Have to look for dog food there too. Dog and cat food is limited supplies. Costco has half the pet food they normally do and no cat food. Im glad I picked up the cat food Tuesday instead of putting it off because they wont eat anything else. Pet food was limit 1 so couldn't get dog that day.

We went back last night for the dog food to find they didn't have what Athena can eat, the regular Kirkland dog food. She can handle a few types of Taste of the Wild and Merricks as well.

Yup, those tornados are unpredictable, and it's scarier when the public warning system (like the old school ones on tall poles) goes off in the dark hours. Had that happen to us when we lived in TX. Tornado hit a mile away and another time came down I-30 toward my workplace during the day. We had to lock up and all hide in the inner part of the store away from the windows until the all clear was given.

We buy our cat food at Costco so yes saw the limit 1 but the cat food we buy 2 as we feed indoor and outside the same..
Dod food is the trick buy three varieties all at Costco one is kirkland other are their other foods. Says Premium ? They make all the foods there.

The problem was there was zero cat food at this Costco. No dry or canned. Only 4 types of dog food and 2 were small bite puppy kibble in little dog bags.

It's a nationwide supply chain issue.

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know we beat the odds and found a home for the rooster. Looks like he will be happy there!

I so wish the girls would eat all the shot weed and henbit....they just ignore them for the most part, leaving them for me to pull. How about yours?

Nope they do not go after thistle .. Most everything else,
The are all pretty mad I locked them out of the garden now.
