Nope they do not go after thistle .. Most everything else,
The are all pretty mad I locked them out of the garden now.

Yeah mine are mad too! We can finally have some nice kale.

Yup and other weeds but do not sniff it allot gets ya high

I don’t plan on sniffing it but it’s good to have the warning. I have a chip pile that grows thistles. I’ve not wanted to poison them because the chips are destined for the chickens and heck I just don’t use serious chemicals.

Yup, mine too. They snuck in yesterday, because I was in there and the gate blew open. I don't blame them for not eating pins and needles . We also have lush grass and their poop compost pile to scratch around in, lots of and other tasty bits, so why not eat dessert instead of peas?

Yeah mine are mad too! We can finally have some nice kale.

My kale didn't survive the Christmas deep freeze. Planted more seeds for this year. A lot of it goes to the girls in the summer when the grass goes dormant. We never water the lawn.

Bummer about the kale! The only problem now is that the kale is producing well but I’m in a hurry to plant other things! Oh and yay we never water grass either!

We do not water the grass but may wait to April to move anything outside too many weather glitches had snow yesterday ...
I do have 11 of 18 hatched so far.
