Well happy Sunday to you all! I need some answers from some EGGsperts (har har!)

I recently put my eggs in the incubator, which I have had regulated for several days now. It's been 12 hours and the temperature has been rising back up to where it was.... almost. My question is: How long does it take (usually) for an incubator to get back up to temp after you put your room-temperature eggs in?

I swear I was going to go make eggs and bacon for breakfast, but now I feel guilty...

LOL now you have me looking in the incubator and thinking eggs and bacon. With toast.

Give it 24 hours. Might not take that long but it does take mine 12-24 to get stable.

i have a hovabator still air and the temp was steady for 3 days before putting the eggs in. i am on day 10 and am still having trouble with the temps. can't quite seem to get them right. good luck to you.

That's what I'm using too. OLD Hovabator 40 egg-er. Luckily, the temp is holding lower than I wanted, but it's still fairly close to what it needs to be. I think I'm going to wait awhile before deciding whether or not to adjust it.

mine is holding lower than ideal also i have tried to up it a little but no luck. most of my eggs are developing though so i'm optimistic. hopefully yours will too

I just have to say my brinsea eco 20 holds temp within +or- 1degree constantly the internal thermometer
reads a little off but I now hold a steady 98 as 99.5-100 produced 18 and 19 day hatches 98 should be just right

Well at least I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. It finally regulated up to about .25 / .5 a degree to what it should be at, but took nearly 20 hours to do so. I guess I'll know for next time!
