Getting chick to use nesting box

2x4 make great roost & the roost should be higher than the nest box. Plastic Easter Eggs works great too. You could also block off the nest box at nights.

That one is slightly small for 4 chickens but since they can free range that helps. I’d still make the modifications to the roosts and block off the nesting area at night until they break the habit. My little coop is the same brand, and the roost it came with is definitely not wide or high enough (luckily I don’t need a roost for rabbits lol).

Yes, indeed it is...free ranging might help, a large and 'night secure' and weather proof run would help more, especially if climate is harsh.

Not exactly perfect for rabbits actually. They love to chew on wood and that cheap soft wood is going fast lol.
