Getting chickens clean for a show

I just bathed some new white showgirls I got, and they didn't come all the way clean. I want to show some other birds I have, and will need to bathe them too. Do you have any secrets to get them really clean? If a bird has some yellowing is there a way to get it out?

You could try adding a little bit of blueing agent to the bath water. Or try using some Dawn dishsoap, that will help a lot.

The yellowing may be due to too much time in the sun (term escapes me at the moment). But once those feathers are molted, then they won't be yellow anymore 'til they are exposed again. Hope that made sense.
