Getting chickens to roost

Well the chickens are in their new run I know who is boss(its one of the brown hens the silkie is next. When I checked to see if they were roosting I found them huddled up in the coop so I gently put each one on a perch. Does it take time for them to roost in a new coop?

It takes them time and I have had a couple that decided to not roost
