when my chicken first got out I have 2 dogs I did not worry about my 14 year old lab and my saymoed but there both very good with all my animals I have pet rats no prob I do have a 2 year old pit mix and she is real good but she was who i was worried about so i would hook her to a leash and let the birds do there things and when they would come close to her I made her sumbit to them she had to stay laid down she was not allowed to sniff them and no eye contact (all this by just saying her name with her breed I have been on top of her training from the time she was a pup and never once used phycial punishment thank you dog wisper cesaser malon love him) but my flock and my pack hang out togeather and if one of the dogs are hitting a chickns nerves the chickens put teh dogs and cat in there place quite funny to see a pit who chased away a bear this summer running from a less then one pound chicken
