I was wondering if it's ok to get chicks from 3 different places and have them all in the same brooder? Also what is the biggest age gap you can have between chicks in the same brooder. The one place that I'm looking at getting some from the chicks are probably close to a week old while the others will probably only be 1-3 days old. The reason for all this is because I can't get all the breeds I want at the local hatchery. This will be my 4th time of getting chicks but the last couple of times I've gotten them they were all from the same place since I wasn't really looking for specific breeds and when I did get some that were different in age it was a month difference so I knew to have different brooders.
Thanks in advance for your input. :)

Week olds can go in with 3 day olds, no problem. Make sure you are getting them from a good place, hopefully no diseases. I have found that three week olds are just too old to be with day olds. That is my cutoff. Two week olds are ok.

Thanks. I've gotten chicks from all 3 places before and have had no problems.
