Getting close for broody hen

Day 21 for eggs under broody RIR is Sat.....just moved her and 15 eggs into a fresh nest in the 'hatching suit' of the chicken coop. I am not taking a chance on biddies falling out and getting mud bound (thanks to SW Fla summer rains).

15 eggs???? Wow. Good luck with them. I have 4 eggs in the incubator and I wish one of my hens would beg to sit on them. It's much easier.

Congrats!
One of my RIR went broody once, she sat on 23 eggs.
All chicks were murdered by dogs though.

Good luck....I have a broody on day 21....4 eggs,not sure if they'll hatch.I hope so. I also have a broody on day 8....4 eggs...hope all goes well for her too.

Well she started with 16, one went bad...what a mess.
I have 19 hens, so only a few of the eggs are actually from this hen.
I also have 16 eggs in my incubator, but they are due till next week.
