Getting closer

Here is a hodge podge of coop project photos.

I made some good progress this weekend.
I still need to finish the walls on the inside, and add the run.
Couple more weeks and I'll be looking for birds!

this is what the shed looked like originally.

Just starting to tear off 15ft.

Wow! it's going to be a chicken compound!!! You have done a lot. Can't wait to see it green up and chickens running around.

What really stinks is, I am heading to NY to hunt for the rest of the week and my neighbor in NY has 40 chickens and said when I leave camp I should take some of his chickens home with me.
I'm just not ready.

will you stain the wood?

I might paint it the same color as my 3 other sheds. If I end up liking the look it has now I will just stain it. Because this is undried ruff cut pine, I want to let it shrink and dry till next spring then I'll make my decision.
