I am new to ducks and will be setting a few tomorrow in my incubator (Brinsea oct 20) and setting some under my broody hens (chickens). The eggs will consist of Pochard, NA Pintail, assorted Teal, Mallard, and a few others that the lady was unsure if she would have by tomorrow. I will update when they have been set.
My questions are:

1. Humidity? My Brinsea is set up for auto humidity at 45% now but can be calibrated to an exact if I need to change it. Obviously the hens will do their own adjusting.

2. Hatch times? I know that this one will be a little open ended until I get a list of the actual eggs I will be setting.

3. Do I need to be cautious about brooding all of the babies together once they hatch?

WOW! That was very informative.. I have had lots of experience hatching chicken, quail and other types of fowl; just never ducks. From that info it sounds like its very much the same as the before mentioned birds. Other than humidity, and hatch times. Unfortunately I have looked at a few different sites and the hatch time seems to vary by sometimes more than 4-5 days depending on the site. I just didn't want to take any chances with these particular eggs. The one main thing that I did gather from that amazing post was I need to stay ever vigilant, and keep good records.
