OK..........I build a nice tractor ( 4x8 with a condo top).
I scrounge up most of the lumber from the pile that was left over from building our house.
I use the metal roofing that was left over from the carport I added on.
I fill it with nice banties.
I want some standards, so I build a small tractor (3x5) to actually use as a brooder/grow up deal, and I put 5 RIRs in it. Now they are 4 weeks old and in a week or so will need more room.
So, I must build another tractor, or just go ahead and build the dream coop. ( big nice coop that I can stand up in, with two sides for different breeds, and two runs)
I have no lumber left from the pile.
I have no roofing left either.
ANd now I'm about to put some eggs in the incubator I bought for 15 dollars.
So.........I leave the choice to my fellow BYCers.
1. Scrounge and build a tractor ( knowing that in a month or so I will have to build another tractor for the birds in the bator)
2. Go ahead and build the dream coop and twin runs.
