Yeah, my Vet said she scoops them out. Pretty big deal...pretty big money. I have four goats I’d like to do...that adds up pretttty quick! I’ll read up a lot on it! Thanks, I kind of thought I had to just live with the horns. Very cool!!

I’m learning. Some things are REALLY tough. We had to ‘cull’ some ducks this year...very hard. Just killed a pig...wayyyyyyy hard. I looked into the banding of the horns...I think were definitely going to do it. Not really anything to lose? From what we read, it’s safe. Worst case, you have to try again...or they get scurs. That’s not as bad as a horn in the eye, like two weeks ago..
I assist now...what I mean, I’ve watched, in order to accept it better. I pluck and gut the birds....have to....I’m a farmer now...
Yeah, but, I’ve had my goats get stuck in our fence a few times...we had to change the fence...we put up wood on each side of the posts so they can’t get stuck. But, I was walking the baby today, and the mama was upset...she was getting her head kinda stuck. When they grow, especially a buck, they can be a hazard...I’m just saying because of what I’ve seen, and felt in my eye.
