Another question please...:frow
Alfalfa pellets or cubes I can break up? Or is that bad for wethers? I'm just really wanting to feed them properly..Maybe I'm trying too hard? I can get different types of pellets too. :idunno
I keep putting the baking soda on the feed once a day but they don't eat it. They pick up the feed around the baking soda. Tricky kids..:hmm

I keep mine in a separate feeder. They eat it as necessary. Sometimes they eat more than other times. Usually they consume more baking soda on pasture here, and more minerals when on hay.

I hope used alfalfa pellets or cubes except for once. I just feed mine hay and pasture. A handful of ration is okay daily too. Goats have a sensitive digestive system, so they don't need a lot, nor is it good for them.

Okay then scrap that idea..:thumbsup
Less is more I'm guessing...:wee

Keep it simple, your goats will complain no matter what you do.

Are you gonna get them some stuff to climb on? We built that goat tower, and have a rock pile for ours. It's probably why I don't need to trim hooves. I read goats like a tether ball, but I'm afraid someone will get tangled in. I also always wanted to give them a tire swing to butt around but haven't done so yet.

Definitely getting things to play on. Our weather though isn't nice enough to get that done yet. We are making a teeter totter soon too. Can get tires from a friend also.
Looking for a excersise tramp too..
