Oh okay...Sounds lovely..That's what goats do unfortunately. They can be big bullies to each other. Even when they get along they will butt each other just because. Goats hate being alone, but they hate someone standing next to them.
Definitely lots of room for both to not touch. Is there enough room for them to both lay in the doghouse without touching? My male and female were the same age and mostly were best friends with some bickering. They did not like to touch each other when they slept, they liked their space.![]()
Bonded sibling pairs get along the best. Since yours are from two different moms expect some butting. Hopefully they form a bond after a while. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.Oh okay...Sounds lovely..![]()
Thanks for the information Lisa. Everything you say is negative though..Bonded sibling pairs get along the best. Since yours are from two different moms expect some butting. Hopefully they form a bond after a while. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
Females are often more pushy in my experiences.
Sometimes the butting can get dangerous. I had one big male get a broken jaw from it. I now dehorn my boys to prevent problems.
My dwarf and pygmy would often use their horns to lift others off the ground by putting their horns under the belly of another and lifting their necks.
