Getting Goat kids

Pics
Usually you notice the constant screaming first. Lots of tail wagging and discharge. She will get moody and loud. Your wether will probably smell her a lot and probably mount her. Most miniature come in heat from August through January. They tend to be seasonal breeders.
Jeepers I think Fancy is in heat...:th
She is crying lots and peeing more. Tail wagging and of course Ozzy is too young I'm thinking to be interested in her that way..:fl

Little Ozzy's sister died yesterday...
She froze outside because idiot didn't make sure the others let them in at night. She was rained on and then snowing too..:barnie...:rant...:hit
That's terrible. Goats will keep members out of the shed if there isn't enough room or ways in. :(

Sounds like it. Bucks can breed as early as 3 months, but most around 5 months. Being Ozzy is a wether he probably won't show much interest. I don't miss screaming in heat does. It's one reason I prefer the fixed boys.

I personally would wait until next year to breed. If they aren't mature enough they can have troubles getting the kid out. Many first timers will have single kids and sometimes they are too big.

Definitely wouldn't breed her till this time next year if I ever succumb her to child rearing?..:idunno
Ozzy is definitely oblivious to her plight if she is in heat..:gig

I highly recommend breeding at least once. You haven't lived until you've seen adorable baby goats bouncing about. I died from the cuteness of it every time I saw it.
