I know definitely adorable and Jeepers it's a commitment too. I'll think this over as Fancy grows up..I highly recommend breeding at least once. You haven't lived until you've seen adorable baby goats bouncing about. I died from the cuteness of it every time I saw it.

Yes. Since the first time I bred a goat they're is nothing more cute wholesome as those baby goats hopping around like bunnies. And a lot of goats can be super awesome mothers and when that happens it's just special to watch. I have to resitict myself if breeding to only 1 at a time. It's me and my girl and my work hours range from 40-60 not including commute. Unless I restrict myself I will overwhelm myself. Definitely the way it's working here. The next two days are going to be in the 60 degrees during the day but we better enjoy it because it's dropping hard after that. They are forecasting a really really bad winter for this area. It's going to be a rough one compared to what were used to. It's not usually below freezing even in December and looks like starting end of next week it's going to be a consistent thing but starting in November?! My never screamed while they were in heat and actually I could never even tell until we brought a male over to breed. As soon as he came off that trailer she was wagging her tail in his face running a little bit and wagging her tail some more. It was kind of funny like goat flirting. And I had one of my girls just hide behind the shed for about a week. I'm guessing she wasn't in heat yet. I prefer not to keep any males but the wether. Maybe one day but I just fine keeping everybody separated at the correct times and the ungodly smell of a male goat in heat it's just a little too much for me. So sad. The one thing I've always really appreciated about owning goats well at least the bigger breeds is that as long as they are dry and have an area that wind isn't blowing right at them they're good to -25°. But doesn't sound like she was dry. I'm not sure about smaller breeds I don't know what it is everything I get I like the larger size. My goats even chickens. I prefer The big breeds. Which is weird because I'm less than 5 foot and just around 100 pounds.
Yes..They definitely are sad at the loss of the kid Doe. Poor baby. They think it was the sheep that wasn't letting certain goats into the shelter.
I'll never keep a male goat here for breeding purposes..
Seems really happy with his new home, Didn't cry as much as i thought he would. Decided to put Tilly right in with him even though she isn't in heat. He's successfully bred her multiple times. The doe waged her tail lots and stands for him so maybe she is in heat? not 100% sure.. He doesn't care about that of course!
