It is probably because they are kids. They are used to having their mom tell them where it's safe. You are their mom now.Well I have strange kids. They only like the big run if I'm in it with them.
They won't run around or play unless I'm sitting right in the Run too.
Fancy screams her silly head off and wants over the gate and Ozzy tries crawling under the gate..
Hopefully it's just a young goat behaviour.....

Phew...Goats are babies and think they are royalty. They like to be catered to like spoiled children, so yours sound normal to me.
During the summer they are mostly quiet.
Awesome because I get over thinking them and feel bad because I think I'm spoiling them or they are unhappy or something..This time of year when my goats rely on us for feeding they are always complaining, some unreasonably loud.
I know. I just used my foal training technique and they are easier than foals or puppies to train..Goats sure are characters who learn to work the system.
Sounds like you are taking great care of them. I'm surprised how easy they took to you walking them on a leash.
