Bahahaha...Years ago when we didn't have a good pasture I would drag them out to be tied to eat grass for a few hours. I don't think that's what you mean.![]()

So cute!!!I’m sooo happy to be reading good stuff about your goats and not bad stuff about sick ducks/chickens!! My goats are such a great joy in my life! My one doe will kid in Jan! So scared and excited! You’ll be happy to know I do not have 43 goats, only 2. We did have a buck too, but we just sold him two weeks ago since he did his job, and, bucks are so much extra work! I took a couple silly snapshots today of Busty and Stormy...Busty is the brown one...the one is of Busty standing on her brother Jumbo, our pot belly pig, to get some hay! My goats are actually free range! Somehow I’ve managed to teach them their boundaries. It’s awesome! If I leave for a few hours I put then in the fencing, but when I’m home, they are out and about! You know me... I just love for my animals to be as happy as can be, and enjoying the farm!View attachment 1974717View attachment 1974718View attachment 1974719View attachment 1974720View attachment 1974721View attachment 1974722
I wanted the milk stand for many reasons..trimming hooves, checking FASCMA score, giving meds, my girls needed a bit of taming because they came from a bad farmer who never GP had human contact with them, so I needed to give them touch and love..and, yes.. plan to milk...for a bit and see how it goes. Plus, to teach the young ones manners...lol@Duckfarmer1
You have a milk stand? Your going to milk your goats?
I bet your excited for the new kids to be born.

I absolutely love my kids..![]()
That's a good idea. Fancy was definitely shy when I got her and now she is so sweet and tame. Ozzy has always been a cuddly little guy.I wanted the milk stand for many reasons..trimming hooves, checking FASCMA score, giving meds, my girls needed a bit of taming because they came from a bad farmer who never GP had human contact with them, so I needed to give them touch and love..and, yes.. plan to milk...for a bit and see how it goes.
