I got my kids pen totally cleaned and new straw put in. Fancy only jumped out as we were finished
-30C is coming this week..

Got the coops cleaned some heavy foot bird broke a egg in nest do not think they even knew it was not eaten

That's always a mess when that happens. My Bantams don't break eggs. Most lay their eggs on the floor too.

I have a pair of Blue cochins they say they are not banty they roost on the floor they are still young do not expect eggs till march maybe

I don't ever care where my Birds sleep or nest as long as they are happy in the flock..

That is kinda how I feel as long as they have a safe place and no one can crap on them I do not really care
