You could always get a Donkey or a Lahma to protect your goats on the pasture..

That will work? Seems like a good idea! What will go after goats. We don't have a large variety of predators. The biggest predator would be a coyote.

Definitely a coyote would go after goats. Or build a safe pen to lock them in at night? Mine are totally safe in the dog kennel at night.

My husband this morning was discussing the goats dog kennel. His thoughts are to totally cover 3 sides in plywood and have the other southern side open in summer and again cover in winter with vapour barrier plastic to hold in heat. Definitely we will change the two panels over so the gate opens into the goats yard.

I always get into panic mode when things are failing here..

I'm pretty handy with a staple hammer and plastic. Except the one time I hammered myself to the roof of my Ducks pen and definitely was stuck!
