I took my new momma goat and her two month old kid on a walk today. It went really well! They got antsy after about 7-8 minutes because their buddy was crying, so I took them back. I don’t want it to be negative in any way. But, it was a great start! Then, the new shy one got out of the pen when I was putting them back! She’s the one that bolted when we brought them home! I was sooo nervous! But, luckily, she didn’t go...she lingered, I stepped in, and opened the gate, and she came back in...phew!! She gave my hubby the run for his life that night! Ugh!
A few weeks ago my horse was out and took hours to catch him. Definitely not fun trying to catch loose animals that don't want to be caught..
