Getting Goat kids

I took my new momma goat and her two month old kid on a walk today. It went really well! They got antsy after about 7-8 minutes because their buddy was crying, so I took them back. I don’t want it to be negative in any way. But, it was a great start! Then, the new shy one got out of the pen when I was putting them back! She’s the one that bolted when we brought them home! I was sooo nervous! But, luckily, she didn’t go...she lingered, I stepped in, and opened the gate, and she came back in...phew!! She gave my hubby the run for his life that night! Ugh!

Oh your leash walking?
I bet you had fun. 👍 A few weeks ago my horse was out and took hours to catch him. Definitely not fun trying to catch loose animals that don't want to be caught..🙄

Miss my life with my horses too old now and can't afford one now either
I'll never buy anymore horses. Kupid and Teddy are my last horses. Kupid is VERY special and my very best friend. ❤🐴
