Awesome. Thanks...I don't think my care is babying my kids either. Fancy will be okay one day I honestly believe that. She wasn't handled as a young kid and she craved attention once weaned from her Mommy. She was 5 months old when I got her and I treat them with compassion daily and she is now attached to me.
Definitely! I'm learning lots here and from my friends here at home. That goat guy definitely helps because he is nonchalant about them..It's interesting to see how everyone else does stuff.

Only having ‘the’ two goats, or ‘these’ two goats? Do you think the fence will fix the problem or will she just cry all day? My two new goats are criers. But, I’m weaning the kids in 10 days..so, the moms go out to the pen and other barn..all the kids in the big barn. I think, after the adjustment, and everyone is bawling..it will bond my herd. Honey and Sugar do not cry when they are with the herd, just when locked up. They want friends. Not just mom and kid. They even like the mini pigs!! I’ve heard that goats get along well with horses....is there a chance you could put them in there?
I used ivermectin injections..and dusted them with a permethrin product...but you must clean and spray 5he barn!! Plus, you have to do both treatments ten days apart, to kill the eggs that weren’t hatched the first round. But, my route worked too. It covered biting and sucking lice...I wanted to be sure since they were pregnant.Awesome. That's the same stuff my friend here used too. She left me a jar incase I ever need to use it.
I read the article...only thing I question...my vet told me to use the ivermectin as an injectable for lice. Can’t see hoe ivermectin is different from ivomec? Whatever..it worked for us..perhaps the shot didn’t but the stuff I put on the bodies did? I know ivomectic kills the type of lice. I think it’s the sucking..less common
