Getting gopher snakes to control ground squirrels

I love snakes also. Personally? I'd kill the squirrels rather than putting the snakes and your bantam in harm's way.

Look up squirrelinator live trap. Traps multiples, no chance in harming chickens, and works amazingly. I had them stealing eggs left and right. I no longer have a ground squirrel issue. I’m rotating my trap further and further from chicken yard too.

OOOHHH I hate squirrels. they get in the chicken run and eat the feed, they climb the bird feeders and eat that, they get on the roof and I have had them in the attic - they do chew on wiring. Some think they are cute- to me they are large hairy tailed rats. I live in town and can't shoot them, I am afraid to poison them- might poison something else. Will try the squirrelinator and see how that works. We are over run right now with the things.
