One of my younger BO hens, Dawn, has been setting for 5 days. Now, she wants to set other eggs in a different box. She left 14 eggs.

Q: Is there any way to get her back onto the first eggs? Is it too late now that she has been off them for about a day?

Q: Can the eggs be eaten?

Q: I candled the eggs and saw nothing, not even bulls-eyes. . . . are they not fertile?

TIA

Update: I was going to move the kennel that I've used in the past into the coop for Dawn, but the rooster made such a fuss that I had to take it out. Instead, I covered Dawn's new nest box with a piece of cardboard with a small (3X5) peephole. I have no idea how many eggs she's on this time, but I'm not lookin'.
