Getting hens to go broody

We have one broody hen that has raised a couple of sets of chicks. We had a couple of others last year to help us along. We got some other Bantam hens to help with the new chicks however except for MaMa no one else seems to be or desires to be broody. We get 4 chicks from the farm store of various breeds and Mama raises them.

So my question is: Is it possible to encourage a hen to go broody? If it is what is the secret? We've only been in this wonderful "hobby" only a couple of years.
MaMa is a great mom. I just don't want her to wear out!

I put golf balls in their boxex, i've only done it twice but itworked both times...

Yeah, try golfballs! I would try putting 7 - 8 of them in the favorite nestand hope for that to put one in the mood. It just might work this time of year!
