Its been a while since having chickens and we just built a house and I am getting back into having chickens. we have a little under and acre of land in a subdivision we can have 7 chickens and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for raising chickens in the city. How much feed would 7 birds go through in a month?

Welcome to backyard chickens!
How much feed they eat will partly depend on what kind of chickens you get.
Bantams will eat half as much as standard breeds.
Are you getting chickens for eggs?
What breeds are you thinking about?
Do you have your coop yet?
Good to have you here!

Welcome to byc!!! Let me know if you need help with anything!! I have 10 Chickens, and seem to go through like 60 lbs a month, but not 100% sure... They arebuff orps, barred rocks, a silkie, a polish, and an EE.
