Getting it going....finally!!!

Do you have the pallets laying on the ground? Are they treated? Do you have to worry about rotting? Are they screwed/nailed together?? Dixie

I wouldn't be able to do this without hubby's help. He is good at these things. Just getting it going is like pulling teeth. He'd rather be under the hood of a truck or something!!

Yes pallets are laying on the ground. We are using this coop for only a couple years. We are building on our other property something more elaborate. We just needed something now. We don't get a lot of moisture here either, so I'm not really worried with rotting. We are planning on covering the floor with linoleum to protect from moisture from inside. When our other one is built, it will have a concrete floor. This one just has to last a couple years. Can't put the babies down on the other place without us!! We wanted to do this one cheap and put more into the other one. It'll do for us.
