I got on my husband for getting the big wire one so we got the smaller square wires I think that is what you are talking about I will post pics soon thank you for your comment!

You're welcome. Your roof looks slanted to me in the pic (the edge of the roof closest to the camera looks higher than the back edge). Yes, hardware cloth has square holes in it, either 1/2 in. or 1/4 in. Either size will work well for predator proofing your coop.

My husband does exterior home improvements for a living and roofing, he is putting siding on it tomorrow to make it look like a house! Lol
