Getting my chicks on Sunday!

I'm getting the first of my chicks tomorrow and the next soon after. The first is a small group of 5 Barred Rock's, and I'm finishing up their home right now. I know they have to stay in for a while but what should I make sure they have?

What should I know for when they arrive?

Nobody responded to you? That's too bad - there's frivolous posts here that get numerous responses.

You can check out "raising chickens 101" in the learning center here if it's not too late. There's some basic info there on preparations for your newly arrived chicks. Murrary Mcmurray's website also has some info on initial preparations. Good luck with the chicks.

I'm sorry no one responded to you. That is sad. Had I have been I this forum I would have, I know what it is like for no one to answer your post. I was over at the hatching chicks forum due to the fact I had babies hatching. I hope all went well with your new babies, do you have pictures? I would love to see them.
