first thank you for any responses. I am getting 10 day old chicks next week..
I bought the Brinsea brooder lamp http://www.brinsea.com/prod-EcoGlow_Chick_Brooder-239.aspx
I've been testing it out in my brooder, and with it on the lowest height, left it on for 45 mins, with a thermometer under it. My highest temp is between 80-85 degrees. Now I know the recommended temp should be around 95 for the first week.
Does anyone have this heater? Anyone had problems with it? I know another member here has it (will ask him as well, in case he doesn't see this).
Am wondering if the temp is going to be to low for 3 day old chicks? Suggestions/comments appreciated
