I am getting my first 3 chickens on the weekend and will be collecting this old rabbit hutch to use for them. Once settled they will have free roam of my 120ft garden in the day. Can you see any way it would need converting? I will add a perch inside for them.

Any other tips for a newbie (in the UK) would be appreciated.

Thanks, Sarah

It looks very small, what are the dimensions?
Pics of the inside might help.
Will work great for chicks, but you'll probably want something larger for when they grow up, assuming you're getting chicks.

Good to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

x2 what @aart said. Those pre-fabs are notoriously under-sized. You can use it as a starter coop or as an isolation coop but you should build something larger, easier to keep clean and predator proof.
Oh, and welcome to BYC! :frow
