Getting my first chickens

We are getting ready to order our first chickens and we couldn't be more excited! We are hoping to start off with around 5, but I only saw where we had to order a minimum of 15. Alsom I wanted to order 5 different kinds of chickens. I'm hoping to get chicks. Anyone know of a place that we could order from?

Ideal Poultry has a wide range of breeds to choose from (correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the largest poultry shipper in the US I believe); although there is no chick minimum, they do say this:

The minimum dollar value for an order is $25.00 in poultry, excluding male only chick orders.

Actually, I always order in batches of 25 chicks whether I want that many or not, but I order pullets (never straight run) and I have no trouble selling off the extra pullets (I have the order form to prove that I ordered pullets) and recouping my money. Even with an order of 25 pullets, I typically get a couple of cockerels in the order.

P.S. I order the 25 because larger orders of chicks ship much better than small orders.
