I am SO excited!!!!!! I get to pick up my new babies this Wednesday( between 1 and 5 pm). Only a small order of 6 silkies (hatchery choice so hopefully a few different colors) and 2 blue Swedish ducklings (females).
A couple of weeks ago my neighbors dogs dug under our fence and killed 2 of my hens. I would be devastated regardless but they got my 4 yr olds and mine favorite girl, Princess Strawberry (I guess which of us named her). Anyways, We've been super upset so my husband , knowing I've wanted to add silkies for a very long time, told me I should order some. He doesn't get to spend as much time with the chickens as we do so he's not as attached but he's happy bc we've (kinda) stopped mopping around.
I am so ready to get these little ones!
Who else has ordered/what have you ordered?

I miss my sweet girl. Her daughter is behind her. Her name is Eclair. She's also very special to us, as is her other daughter (Chirpy- who turned out gray with to solid white parents????)
