My rooster Penguin (Barred Plymouth Rock Bantam x Old English Silver Duckwing Bantam) is beautiful with a unique personality to match. He was recently sick with upper respiratory but I treated him with Oxytetracycline, Tylan 50, and VetRX and he is doing better and is almost 100% back to normal. The state fair is coming up in July and I want to show him but he is missing one side of his tail feathers and possibly some on one of his wings. I would also like to bathe him but I'm not sure how or what I should use.
Is there something I could give him to help boost his feather growth? And is there any chicken shampoo I could use? (LOL)
I want to do this I really do, but I can't find any books on Amazon that will tell me what I need to do so I need your help. Thanks!
