Hey everyone I know I haven't been on in a while just checking in I lost most of my flock to foxes, coons, and weasels. I have two Ameraucana and one Delaware left over on one of my Ameraucanas is broody. On Sunday I am going to Will Marrows from whitmore farm to pick up 12 new hens and pullets. It works out great because I couldn't raise chicks this year and these birds are all already laying or about to start! I am really very exited even if these birds are culls. I am getting 3 Delawares, 3 BBS Ameraucana, 4 Wellsummers (these lay amazing eggs), and maybe 2 or 3 black copper Marans. I know Will Doesn't have any other birds available but I am very exited to be able to get some of his beautiful birds. Most of the birds I lost to predators were his pullets that had been laying for a month or two. I am reinforcing my coop and working to make is much more predator proof so my new batch of girls will be safe.

Thanks,
Henry

You will be very happy with the Delawares. They are full of personality and lay wonderful eggs, not to mention they are beautiful!

Thanks I loved the two dellies I had and the one that survived is a great girl and laying well at 2 1/2 years old. I really do like the breed.
