Getting our supplies - cement board?

Question for you all: we have the opportunity to get some free cement board. Would this be good to use over some plywood for the floor? I hope this doesn't seem like a silly question - I don't know much about it but would love to make use of it especially if it is more water resistant than plywood. We scored on wood and plywood and have enough to build five coops

of course we won't!

If it's free, use it but remember it's heavy and you will need to seal it to prevent absorbing poo fluids and stinking.
