We've had such sour luck with new Chicks in Febuary, I'd like to try them this fall.I need about 8 weeks to Chicken Choppin.
During the winter, two years we had a terrible turn of the weather and lost two sets of chicks. Weather just got so cold went and windy we couldnt protect them.
Now it's warm, almost too warm, and I'm wondering if my idea is good?
Is this a better time to get a shipment (50) new Chicks?
Still keep them enclosed in a Cardboard coop, with heat Lamps down on them all the time.
