I've heard Privett has some very nice quality birds and some very poor quality birds. So they may well just be poorly bred Jersey Giants.
I have an Iowa Blue who is 90% black with only some silver and brown on the hackles, with a dark comb. So it's also possible they could also be very poorly bred IBs.
