Getting Rhode Island Red Chickens Soon

Our landlord has given us permission to keep chickens. I'm over the moon!

We are now seriously looking into coops and are currently planning to build one before the girls will move in (hopefully by August).

Also, an update on the Rhode Island Reds – RIRs – After a bit more reading and research, we tend more toward the "Light Sussex" ones.

There was a lot going on here, so I had to postpone buying my Light Sussex We are almost ready now, for the girls to be moving in.
