Getting Semen From Birds

I am breeding LF Blue Cochins, and I am wondering how you would get semen out of the rooster.

Also where would I get the supplies for collecting semen

With all the feathers cochins have you have to trim them, and mine are also show birds so I can't trim them. So I am trying yo see what doing semen would cost.
