Getting smokey smell out of house and scorched pan

vinager, just hide a bowl here and there and boil on low heat to solve your pan problem. turn ur ac/heat to ventilate only/ off on heat air and on on to circulate and hide bowl of vinager. when i have chicks in the house i have a bowl of vinager behind anything i can hide it behind, works the same for other undesirable smells. if emergency, like someone at door now then spray vinegar or freebreese in the area where your flilter goes. good luck will go away with time.

I tried a mixture of these things once I burned my stock pot after leaving it to long on the stove
Im in the process of boiling 2 pots of cinnamon ,cloves and lemons with a candle burning for good luck
I shut the kitchen door and window to let it build up a head of steam on a couple of notches from maximum heat for 40 mins turned it down to half strength opened the window only and am letting it simmer away for an hour or so watching it like a hawk topping it up if need be smell seems to have abated wont know till I mop up will give the result tomorrow

If I knew what Patchouli is was or can be mate I would offer an opinion ,I will just stick with the cloves its only 72 hours since the burning and the cloves are still going strong kitchens a pleasure to walk into keeping the door shut just adds to the excitement, I will be devastated if I open it in the coming days and the burnt pong is back so far so good .

Go find yourself an earthy hippy type, and give them a smell. Patchouli is a perfume, and they're probably wearing it.
I hate the smell of clove do to people smoking clove cigarettes.
