Hi, we were wanting to get started showing (very small time) this summer. Not to win, but more to get into the scene and get a judge's opinion of which of our birds are the best to keep for breeding purposes. Basically to get an educated second opinion on which of our birds are the least crappy, so we can breed selectively
. I have scoured the internet for SQ doms and have had a really hard time finding anything.
Any good, friendly advice on showing, tips/tricks that we may not find in the books? Especially for our breed, but in general anyway.
Anyone know of any poultry shows in Oregon, preferably near the latter part of summer or into the fall, as we will be moving in July. Our chicks were born around Mar 1. We will be living just outside of Sweethome, close to Albany/Corvallis and about 45mins from Eugene.
