My fencing is just pieces of welded wire fence, some old and rusting but it keeps them contained while I'm growing the grass. I can't even tell you how many "pieces" of fencing I have but I bet it's close to 15. You could actually use something solid too.

Remember, it's temporary until whatever you want to grow gets growing so it doesn't have to be pretty or fancy. You might find someone on Craig's list that is giving scraps away. They do come in handy!
