Getting the coop outside for 4 weeks chick

I got a coop without the roof (yet) sitting on my garage with the brooder plate.
They are 4 weeks today.
I am thinking to put on the roof and bring the coop outside to sit on my deck
Currently, it is in my garage.
I will still put the brooder heating plate in. Thank you folks!

Sounds like a good plan to me
just make sure they don’t get too chilled

Im new to this too. I am in upstate NY. I have read not to put them outside until its always over 60 degrees.

As long as it maintains a warm temp in the coop, that sounds good. Keep a good watch over it though.

As long as it isn't wet, they have a roof, and access to a mama hen heat plate they should be fine. Mine have been in an outside coop since they were 5 or 6 days old.
